Already have a DubBot or other scan report? Start there.

I close the findings on your site and document the result for your attorney, auditor or procurement officer.

Your deadline

ADA Title II requires state and local government websites to meet WCAG 2.1 AA by:

April 26, 2027Public entities serving 50,000 people or more
April 26, 2028Public entities serving fewer than 50,000 people, and special districts

Dates as set by the Department of Justice in April 2026. Population means your jurisdiction's population. Source: ADA.gov.

What Title II requires

Web content and mobile apps you provide, directly or through a contractor, must meet WCAG 2.1 AA. That includes documents and online services like forms and payments.

Exceptions

  • Archived content: kept for reference only, in a marked archive, unchanged.
  • Older documents: posted before your compliance date, unless still used to access your services.
  • Third-party posts: from the public, not from your contractors.
  • Individual secured documents: such as one resident's bill behind a login.
  • Older social media posts: made before your compliance date.

Exceptions are narrow. Your attorney decides whether one applies; my report flags the candidates.

What a conformance report includes

  • Scope: pages, templates, documents and test date
  • Standard: WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Method: tools, browsers and screen readers
  • Results per success criterion, with locations
  • Remaining issues, with a fix plan and timeline
  • Who tested, and how to reach them

Working with your vendor

I can start from your existing scan report, fix the theme and templates myself, or tell your vendor what to change. Third-party systems like payment portals are documented with what to ask for.

Purchasing

Fixed, published prices. Purchase orders welcome; monitoring can be paid by annual PO.
