Hi, I'm Travis.
I'm a web accessibility specialist with an IAAP CPACC and WAS certification, and a web developer by trade.
For years I've designed and built websites for businesses. Along the way I kept seeing the same thing: sites that looked great and loaded fast, but that a lot of people couldn't actually use. A checkout that needs a mouse. A form that never says what went wrong. A menu a screen reader can't open.
Those aren't edge cases. They're everyday barriers for people who are blind or have low vision, who are deaf or hard of hearing, who use a keyboard or switch instead of a mouse, or who have cognitive or motor disabilities. Fixing them makes a site better for everyone else too.
So I made accessibility my focus. I earned the International Association of Accessibility Professionals' CPACC and WAS certifications, and now I help teams find the barriers on their sites and remove them, in the code, where it lasts.
How I work
- People over checklists. WCAG is the standard I test against, but the goal is a site people can use.
- Fix, don't just report. As a developer I can write the fix, not just describe the problem.
- Plain language. No jargon walls or scare tactics; you'll understand what's wrong and why it matters.
- No overlays. I won't sell you a widget that promises compliance. They don't work.
